Installation And Operation Procedures For Mixing Valves

Step 1: Pipe Connection
Connect the cold water pipe to the left-side connector on the valve body, and the hot water pipe to the right-side connector (marked "H" for hot water, "C" for cold water). When wrapping the Teflon tape, wrap it 5-7 turns in the thread direction. Too thick a wrap may cause leakage at the connector, while too thin a wrap may result in insufficient sealing.

Tighten the connector with an adjustable wrench, controlling the torque to 15-20 N·m (avoid excessive force that could deform the valve body).

Step 2: Fixing the Valve Body
Use expansion bolts to fix the valve body to the wall, with a spacing of ≤30cm between fixing points (to prevent loosening due to long-term vibration).

After installation, calibrate with a level to ensure the valve body's vertical deviation from the ground is ≤2mm (to avoid uneven wear of the internal valve core).

Step 3: System Testing
Slowly open the main hot and cold water valves to purge air from the pipes.

Adjust the handwheel to the middle position and observe whether the outlet water temperature stabilizes at the set value.
Test the anti-scalding design: Suddenly open the cold water valve and observe whether the hot water side automatically limits the flow.
