What are the structures of a heating valve?

Safety Valves

Primarily used to relieve pressure when the medium is overpressured, protecting equipment and systems. In some cases, modified micro-lift water pressure safety valves can be used as system pressure regulating valves. Safety valves come in many structural forms, indicated by "Y" in valve model designations.

Check Valves

Also known as check valves or one-way valves, they allow unidirectional flow of the medium. If the downstream pressure is higher than the upstream pressure, the check valve will automatically close. Check valves come in various types, mainly including lift valves and swing valves. Lift valves resemble gate valves externally and have high pressure loss, so they are less commonly used in modern heat exchange station systems. They are indicated by "H" in valve model designations.

Gate Valves

Used to cut off the flow of the medium, they have some regulating performance but high pressure loss. They are often used in heating systems to cut off steam flow, so gate valves are generally used in heating pipes. They are indicated by "J" in valve model designations.

Gate Valve

Used to cut off the flow of media. When the valve is fully open, the media can flow through it like a normal pipe without changing the flow direction, thus resulting in low pressure loss. Gate valves have poor regulating performance and are indicated by "Z" in valve model designations.

Butterfly Valve

Regulation and opening/closing are achieved by changing the angle of the valve disc. Because the valve disc is always in the middle of the flowing media, the resistance is relatively high, and therefore it is less commonly used. It is indicated by "D" in valve model designations.
