In air conditioning water systems or other industrial water systems, manifolds also manage several branch pipes, including return and supply branches, but they are often larger, ranging from DN350 to DN1500, and are made of steel plates. These are pressure vessel manufacturers and require the installation of pressure gauges, thermometers, automatic air vents, safety valves, and venting valves. Pressure regulating valves are needed between two vessels, and an automatic bypass pipeline is required.
In municipal water supply systems, the use of manifolds effectively avoids loopholes in municipal water management, centrally installs and manages water meters, and, combined with single-pipe multi-line usage, reduces pipe procurement costs and significantly reduces construction time, improving efficiency.
