Structure of a Mixing Valve

The valve core of a mixing valve typically employs ceramic disc sealing technology. The high hardness and wear resistance of the ceramic disc effectively prevent leakage and ensure a good seal.

The valve body is usually made of copper alloy. This material is high in strength and corrosion-resistant, ensuring the mixing valve will not be damaged by corrosion during long-term use, thus extending the product's lifespan.

The handle of the mixing valve is ergonomically designed. Its carefully crafted curvature provides a comfortable grip and easy operation. The torque is controlled at approximately 2 N·m, easily allowing for the adjustment of hot and cold water flow.

The inlet and outlet of the mixing valve are generally connected by threads, with common thread sizes being G1/2". This connection method is easy to install, provides a reliable seal, and can be quickly connected to various standard pipes.

The internal flow restrictor of the mixing valve effectively controls the water flow rate, typically limiting the maximum flow rate to around 9L/min, meeting daily usage needs while also conserving water.

The sealing rubber ring of the mixing valve is made of high-quality material, possessing excellent aging resistance and water resistance, with a Shore hardness between 50-60, ensuring excellent sealing performance.

Mixing Valve The thermostatic device of the valve uses a temperature-sensing element to monitor the water temperature in real time. Common temperature-sensing elements include paraffin wax temperature sensors, which can react quickly to changes in water temperature and adjust the mixing ratio of hot and cold water.

The outer shell of the mixing valve is often chrome-plated, with a chrome layer thickness between 0.2 and 0.3 μm. This not only enhances its aesthetics but also improves its corrosion resistance and wear resistance.

The valve core rotation angle of the mixing valve is generally between 0° and 90°. Precise angle control allows for continuous adjustment of the hot and cold water flow from entirely cold to entirely hot, meeting the water temperature needs of different users.
